Notes: Tumour marker. Elevated levels have been found in ovarian cancer and other diseases 
both neoplastic and non-neoplastic; such as cancers of the fallopian tube, 
pancreas, liver, lung and others. Non neoplastic situations include menstruation  
first trimester of pregnancy, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory 
disease, and lung and pleural diseases.
