Specimen Collection Requirements:
Phlebotomist Instructions: Collect sample Monday - Thursday ONLY if received in Main Lab by 2.00pm. Do NOT 
collect on Saturday or day before Public Holiday.

Due to sample viability best results can be obtained if specimen is taken in the 
morning, to be received in Main Laboratory by 2.00pm for same day delivery to 
Wellington Hospital.
Sample Type:

2x Mauve (EDTA) tube 4.0mL

Unacceptable Samples: Do not centrifuge, separate or refrigerate.
Pre-Analytical Storage Requirements: Room temperature. DO NOT REFRIGERATE
