HIV screening in pregnancy

Aotea Pathology is currently working with both Capital & Coast and Hutt Valley DHB project teams on the introduction of antenatal HIV screening.

The project co-ordinators for each DHB will notify you of the confirmed dates for implementation and planned education events.

Both DHBs have appointed coordinators for the screening service; these people are: Hutt Valley DHB - Nicola Giblett (Midwife/Project Co-ordinator) Capital & Coast DHB – Anita O’Boyle (Antenatal HIV Screening Co-ordinator Wellington/Wairarapa).
