Price increase for specialist-referred and non-DHB-funded tests

The prices for laboratory tests we do for private specialist medical practitioners will increase by the annual CPI figure effective from 1 November 2009.

The timing and level of the increase is determined by Aotea Pathology’s contract with the District Health Boards. Prices for laboratory tests not covered by DHB funding, such as insurance medicals, employment related testing and immigration/ visa medicals will increase on 1 November by 2.5%.
